Vaibhav Sooryavanshi greeted Kyle Jamieson's first ball with a four, drilling it straight back down the ground when the Rajasthan Royals' hosted Delhi Capitals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday night.
For a teenager who had been taking the tournament apart without flinching, it looked like another confident start was building. But Jamieson had other plans.
Jamison stuck to his length and refused to offer any width and followed up with a pinpoint yorker that breached the young batter's defence.

Sooryavanshi hung back, looked to dig it out, but the under-edge crashed into the stumps.
The dismissal itself was just one part of the story. Jamieson, visibly fired up after sending Sooryavanshi on his way, turned and fixed the teenager with a fierce, lingering stare as he walked off.
The celebration quickly trended across social media, with many fans taken aback by the intensity of the reaction directed at a 15-year-old prodigy.
Some felt it was unsporting, others argued that the teenager's growing reputation and fearless approach warranted being treated exactly as any other batter would be.

New Zealand players are generally known as some of the nicest and most respectful competitors on the field, always carrying the spirit of the game in a positive manner. Seeing such intensity against a youngster like Vaibhav caught many fans by surprise. 🙁"

Another fan wrote: "Sooryavanshi nation, we will be there at Kotla on the 17th."
Jamieson's yorker was brilliant. The send-off, less so. There is nothing wrong with a show of emotion after a big wicket, especially one Delhi needed badly.
But singling out a 15-year-old for an extended stare-down crosses a line that even competitive cricket should be mindful of.
Sooryavanshi handled it the way he handles pace without flinching. And if history is any guide, he will be back at the crease soon enough, with the score to prove it on the 17th at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
