The Las Vegas Raiders desperately need to add more help at wide receiver and a former teammate of quarterback Kirk Cousins has been suggested as a potential option.
CBS Sports' Zachary Pereles suggested one free-agent signing for every team and for the Raiders, it was former New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver, Stefon Diggs.
"Diggs showed last year he can still really play, even if his snap share was way down. A talented separator who snatches the ball with hands like glue, Diggs would really help a Raiders wide receiver group bereft of his skill set and bereft of experience," Pereles said.
Of course, Cousins and Diggs were teammates for two seasons from 2018-19 before Diggs moved on to play for the Buffalo Bills.
The Raiders need to improve their wide receiver group, and Diggs is seen as a talented option who can enhance their offense.
Stefon Diggs has played for the New England Patriots and the Minnesota Vikings before being suggested for the Raiders.
Diggs is known for his ability to separate from defenders and catch passes reliably, which would provide the Raiders with much-needed skill and experience in their receiving corps.

The pairing had some success, with Diggs posting two 1,000-yard seasons with Cousins as his quarterback.
Assuming Cousins starts, which appears to be a real possibility, it would be helpful to have a familiar target in the offense.
The Raiders are very short on proven talent in their wide receivers room.
The addition of Jalen Nailor was a good one, but he is not proven as anything more than a No. 3 receiver.
Las Vegas also has Tre Tucker, who is also a good No. 3, and second-year wideouts Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton, neither of whom showed anything in 2025.
Diggs would immediately step into the No. 1 spot in Las Vegas and push everyone on the depth chart down into roles they are more suited for.
The big thing hanging over Diggs' head is legal trouble.
In February, he pleaded not guilty to felony strangulation and other criminal charges stemming from an alleged dispute with his personal chef.
Diggs, who was released by the Patriots earlier this offseason, could face discipline from the league depending on how things go with that case, so there's a good chance no team will sign him until there's more clarity.
