But soon after, the kicker who played at Hawaii and is known as "The Tokyo Toe" signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Raiders.
Matsuzawa could have a legitimate chance to make the Raiders.

Matsuzawa had an impressive 2025 college football season and will make a run at the job in Vegas.
He's originally born in Japan and wanted to play college soccer there, but he eventually was exposed to American football and taught himself to kick from YouTube videos.
He first made it to Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio, before eventually latching on at Hawaii.
He had a long field goal of 52 yards in 2025, including a game-winner in the opener against Stanford.
Matsuzawa hardly missed during his entire college career. He'll be hoping to get the chance to prove he can do the same in the NFL.
