The Los Angeles Rams are a Super Bowl contender for the upcoming 2026 NFL season. However, that doesn't mean their roster is perfect.
Outside of Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson, there might be some cornerback concerns. But the biggest issue isn't on defense, but rather on offense.
ESPN's Aaron Schatz identified each team's biggest roster hole following the NFL Draft, and for the Rams, their biggest roster hole is their wide receiver depth chart.
"There are a number of players behind Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, but none of them particularly stand out," Schatz writes.
This issue is fully the fault of the Rams, as instead of taking Ty Simpson with the No. 13 pick, the Rams have their pick of almost every WR in the NFL Draft class.

Simpson was a luxury pick for the Rams, as they are planning for Simpson to be the future of the QB position after Matthew Stafford retires.
The issue is that the Rams hurt their roster in 2026 to make such a move. And in what might be the last year of their Super Bowl window with Stafford, that's a big mistake.
Other than Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, both of whom are free agents after 2026, the Rams will have to rely on Jordan Whittington, Xavier Smith, CJ Daniels, Konata Mumphfield, and a few other depth options that don't inspire much confidence.
Instead, had the Rams gone WR in Round 1 instead of Simpson, they could have one of the following players: Makai Lemon, Omar Cooper Jr., KC Concepcion, or Denzel Boston.
Taking one of those WRs, especially someone like Lemon, would've made a ton of sense. He would've been helped right away, and also given the Rams some stability beyond 2026 at the WR position.
The Rams have a big roster hole at WR after Adams and Nacua, and it's all the fault of the Rams' front office for being overly cheeky and taking Simpson in Round 1.
