The Los Angeles Rams have strengthened their defensive secondary by acquiring Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson, but they are still actively scouting cornerback prospects for the draft.
The Los Angeles Rams made two massive moves to address their defensive secondary this offseason, acquiring Trent McDuffie and signing Jaylen Watson, multi-time Super Bowl winners from the Kansas City Chiefs. On top of that, the team re-signed Kam Curl, building out most of their unit as the team looks to turn a page after last season's inconsistent play.

Outside of Forbes, McDuffie, and Watson, the team does not have another starting-caliber outside corner, and let several defensive backs walk this offseason. If the Rams do select a corner in the first round, his contract – if the fifth-year option is exercised – would run concurrently with McDuffie's extension and provide a succession plan for the position group moving forward without breaking the bank.
