Through his partnership with The RightWay Foundation, Los Angeles Rams safety Kam Curl is helping fund part of the rent for an apartment in Los Angelesâ Koreatown for three former foster youth.
The three former foster youth moved into the apartment on May 1.
âThe way Kam Curl showed up to support us, it means the world,â said RightWay Foundation Founder and CEO Franco Vega, per the Ramsâ official team website. âFrom the bottom of my heart, Kam doesnât need to do this, the Rams donât need to do this, your goal is to perform and create the best product on the field on Sundays. But for someone like him to give back, it means the world. Kam and his wife have been awesome partners, along with (Rams Executive Vice President of Community Impact and Engagement) Molly (Higgins). Sometimes I feel like the youth, that I donât deserve this. Thatâs just keeping it real. But yeah, this is big for us. We appreciate everything.â

Curl has previously partnered with The RightWay Foundation to support foster youth. For the past two seasons Curl has worn custom cleats supporting the foundation for My Cause My Cleats in Week 12.
Curlâs donation to the foundation also funds an âearn and learnâ program that financially rewards foster youth for things like getting good grades and graduating high school.
âItâs just been a blessing to work with them and be able to give back,â Curl said. âIâm looking forward to do more.â
In addition to Curlâs contributions, Bobâs Discount Furniture helped furnish the trioâs new apartment. Bobâs Discount Furniture is a partner of the Rams and previously helped furnish teacherâs lounges and donated recliners for the LAFD Aerial Headquarters.
