The Los Angeles Rams selected Alabama defensive tackle Tim Keenan III with the No. 232 pick in the 2026 NFL draft, recognized by Field Yates as a top late-round fit. Keenan III is expected to bolster the Rams' defensive line despite not having a major role initially.

The Los Angeles Rams only made five picks in the 2026 NFL draft, but one of their last ones could be among their best.
With the No. 232 overall pick in the seventh round, the Rams took Alabama defensive tackle Tim Keenan III, a burly interior player who is in the same mold as current L.A. starter Poona Ford. ESPN's Field Yates named Keenan III as one of his top late-round fits in the draft:
The Rams didn't have many needs coming into this draft and made only five selections, but Keenan was a nice way to wrap up their draft class. The 327-pounder is a lane clogger against the run and does a rock-solid job of holding his ground when taking on double-teams. Though he had just 5.5 sacks in four seasons, he can contribute on early downs.
Keenan III won't be tasked with a big role early in his career behind Ford, Kobie Turner, Tyler Davis and 2025 fifth-rounder Ty Hamilton, but he could carve out a niche in the defensive front given his pedigree and experience. He was a three-year starter at Alabama and voted one of four captains for 2025 season.
If Keenan III can show off his work ethic and skillset this offseason, there's a good chance he could earn himself a roster spot in 2026.
