The Los Angeles Rams are predicted to select Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion with the 13th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, moving away from expected choices like Jordyn Tyson and Makai Lemon. This decision reflects a strategic focus on enhancing their offensive lineup.

The Los Angeles Rams have set themselves up well for the 2026 NFL Draft. They are picking at No. 13 overall, and will have their pick of many different players to be instant additions to the roster.
There's likely to be a focus on the offensive side of the ball, especially on offense, and at wide receiver. In many mock drafts, Jordyn Tyson or Makai Lemon have been linked to the Rams with this pick in the first round.
But, Gennaro Filice for NFL.com predicted that the Rams would instead pick a different receiver than Tyson or Lemon. Instead, the Rams would be taking KC Concepcion, the Texas A&M receiver, with the 13th pick.
"Yes, I'm throwing a curveball into the perceived receiver pecking order, with Concepcion as the third pass catcher off the board," Filice writes.
In this mock draft, Carnell Tate went inside the top-10, and Lemon went to the Miami Dolphins at 11th overall. But, instead of going with Tyson, the Rams are predicted to go with Concepcion.
Concepcion is a fun wide receiver prospect who hasn't been linked to teams this high in the draft. He's been a middle-to-late first-rounder much of the offseason. This is the highest he's been predicted to go this offseason.
Last year for the Aggies, Concepcion caught 61 passes for 919 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 15.1 yards per reception. He was also used in the running game, rushing 10 times for 75 yards and one touchdown.

Concepcion is a dynamic pass catcher who is electric after the catch. His yards-after-the-catch ability is among the best in the draft class.
Adding such a talent behind Davante Adams and Puka Nacua would make for a very difficult wide receiver room to defend.
The Rams are likely looking for help for Matthew Stafford in what could be the last year of his NFL career.
For an all-in season, adding someone like Concepcion, who'd be a huge help in the receiving game, and also on punt returns after the struggles there last year, this kind of pick wouldn't be the worst idea for the Rams, despite how uncommon it is.
KC Concepcion is a wide receiver from Texas A&M, predicted to be selected by the Rams due to his unique skills and potential to enhance their offensive strategy.
Before KC Concepcion, mock drafts frequently linked the Rams to wide receivers Jordyn Tyson and Makai Lemon.
Selecting KC Concepcion indicates the Rams' intention to prioritize offensive talent and potentially reshape their receiving corps in the upcoming season.
