Randy Moss sends warning to Patriots in 2026, after improbable SB run

Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss had a warning for the New England Patriots ahead of the 2026 NFL season. All eyes, including his own, will be on the Patriots in their follow-up year to last season's Super Bowl run.

"All eyes are going to be on the New England Patriots," Moss said, via Bleacher Report's Scott Polacek. "They were the runner-ups last year, so I'm interested to see if the team can eliminate a lot of the noise and get back to an AFC Championship and try to get back to the Super Bowl."

Before Mike Vrabel was hired as the Patriots' head coach, the team was coming off a second consecutive 4-13 finish to the 2024 season. In 2025, they won 14 games to beat out the Buffalo Bills for the AFC East division title and punch their ticket as the No. 2 seed in the AFC.

They'd eventually go on to beat the Los Angeles Chargers, Houston Texans and Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game. However, their magical run came to an end at Super Bowl LX, when they fell in defeat against the Seattle Seahawks.

Some skeptics have attributed New England's run to their "easy" schedule. That argument will no longer be able to be used as an excuse next season, with the team expected to have one of the hardest schedules in the league in 2026.
