Olympique Lyonnais are preparing to bring their 2025/26 campaign to an end this weekend, and it will also mark the conclusion of Endrick’s short but highly productive spell in France.
The Brazilian forward, who joined the Ligue 1 side on loan from Real Madrid in January, is now set to return to Spain after quickly establishing himself as one of the club’s most influential attacking players during the second half of the season.
Lyon’s final match of the campaign will come against RC Lens on May 17, officially ending Endrick’s loan tenure with the French side.
The 19-year-old leaves after making a major impact in Ligue 1.
His latest contribution arrived during Lyon’s important 4-2 victory over Stade Rennais, where he scored the decisive goal that helped move the club into the Champions League qualification places.
That strike took his tally to eight goals since arriving in France, while he has also contributed seven assists during an impressive run of performances.
Recently, though, Lyon lost 1-2 to Toulouse, but remain in the race to finish within the Champions League places.

For a player who initially arrived with pressure and expectation surrounding his development, the loan move appears to have worked perfectly for both Lyon and Real Madrid.
Although Real Madrid still have three league matches remaining this season and will not officially conclude their campaign until May 24, Endrick is already expected to return to the club’s facilities earlier than planned.
According to reports from Globo (h/t Madrid Xtra), the Brazilian personally requested permission from Real Madrid to begin training again at Valdebebas ahead of the upcoming World Cup period.
As a result, the young forward is now expected to return to training from next Wednesday.
Meanwhile, within Real Madrid, there is growing excitement regarding Endrick’s development following his successful loan spell.
The Brazilian has shown clear improvement, and the club now expects him to take on a more important role in the first-team squad next season.
