The recent bust-up between Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni in training has done serious damage to Real Madrid’s image and brought to the fore internal politics that many thought never existed.
Irrespective of what disagreement or feud the players had, the situation saw them both cross the line and get into a physical altercation, putting their individual disagreement ahead of the club’s needs.
From Valverde’s rash tackles on Tchouameni to the resulting fight and Valverde’s head injury, the only party that stands to lose is Real Madrid and it is not difficult to see why the club have opened action against the players.
As reported by El Larguero in a recent update, a major chunk of Real Madrid’s dressing room did not take Valverde’s actions yesterday well and they feel be crossed the line with his actions.

Many of the players feel the captain went too far and that his behaviour was excessive for the situation. The dressing room, thus, are disappointed in the captain and feel he should have known better as one of the dressing room leaders.
Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni got into a physical altercation during training, which involved rash tackles and resulted in Valverde sustaining a head injury.
The altercation has seriously damaged Real Madrid's image and highlighted internal conflicts that were previously thought to be non-existent.

In the end, Valverde’s actions to Tchouameni and the fight did not serve any party well and only hurt the team’s chances ahead of a crucial El Clasico.
At this point, strict action against the players involved in such bust-ups is a must to keep the dressing room in order.
The club have opened disciplinary proceedings against both Valverde and Tchouameni and it remains to be seen what punishment the duo will receive.
While the Uruguayan will miss the Clasico through injury, even the Frenchman is now expected to miss the game as a sanction.
