Real Madrid boss Ălvaro Arbeloa did not mince words â he thinks his team is ready to walk into the Allianz Arena down 2-1 on aggregate and walk out the victor in this Champions League tie.
âIt will be a battle. Iâm convinced we are going to Munich confident to win, all of us,â Arbeloa said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). Wednesday will be our night against Bayern. We will give 200% of our energies.
âMy players feel they can make the remontada happen next week. Thatâs the only thing I care about.â
Wednesdayâs showdown figures to be a battle, with both teams in firm belief that they can walk out the winner and advance to the Champions League semifinals.
Arbeloa should feel confident in his squad, but it will be a tough task against a very motivated and hungry Bayern Munich team.
Clearly, the intensity and anxiety will be heightened for what should be an incredible battle.
