Eduardo Camavinga’s future at Real Madrid has quickly become one of the most discussed topics on Spanish media, and understandably so given how he has largely underperformed this season across all competitions.
The Frenchman has been widely linked with a departure from the club next summer, with PSG and Premier League clubs appearing as top suitors.
In recent hours, however, the player’s entourage has come out to deny the rumours and to confirm that their client intends on staying at Real Madrid and honouring his contract.
As reported by Ruben Martin of AS, Real Madrid have treated this season as a ‘final exam’ for Eduardo Camavinga to check his quality and ability to step up for the club on need.
The player, however, has been far from passing the said ‘exam’ and has largely disappointed with his performances, earning no supporters in the process.

Given his level and performances this season, Real Madrid no longer see it in a bad light to part ways with him in June and are thus open to selling him should the right offer arrive.
Camavinga, while he does want to stay, might also accept the reality and consider offers once he realises that his time at the club of his dreams is now nearing an inevitable end.
Los Blancos, for their part, are looking to sign a new midfielder in June and are looking for a big scalp on that front. Needless to say, bringing in such a big name will only complicate Camavinga’s situation further and add competition to the already elaborate list.
So far this season, the Frenchman has made 23 league appearances and 14 starts for Real Madrid in La Liga. He has scored one goal in that duration and averages over eight defensive actions and 92% passes completed in that duration.
