Real Madrid unlikely to have ātotal rebuildā this summer ā Hereās why
Knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the quarterfinal stage and now set to go trophy-less for the second campaign in a row, serious questions are being asked of Real Madridās players and manager.
Florentino Perez, who measures the teamās success in terms of silverware, believes that none of the last three managers have extracted the best out of the squad and that the core is capable of a lot more.
Apart from the manager, however, there is equal blame on the players and it appeared set that there would beĀ wholesale changesĀ to the team ahead of next season.

Both the players and the management have been criticized for the team's underperformance, leading to discussions about potential changes in the squad.

If every player refuses to leave, it is close to impossible for the board to plan and execute a rebuild. After all, any arrivals must be counterbalanced with adequate departures.
In that sense, the extent of changes in the summer will be very limited, at least in terms of the players in the dressing room.
There will be 2-3 changes to the squad as confirmed by the same outlet,Ā Ā but it will be no more than that.
