Chiefs draft review by analyst will scare entire NFL
Chiefs' draft picks could reshape the NFL landscape, says analyst.
The Boston Red Sox will maintain their infield positions for Marcelo Mayer and Trevor Story despite Alex Cora's departure as manager. There had been discussions about switching their roles, but no changes will be made at this time.

Over the course of the season so far, there has been some chatter about whether the Boston Red Sox should switch Marcelo Mayer and Trevor Story's positions in the infield.
Story is the team's shortstop and Mayer is the club's second baseman. This has been clear since Spring Training. While there have been some questions about Story's defense at shortstop, the Red Sox aren't making a change right now, despite the firing of former manager Alex Cora.
On Monday, Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy made that point clear, as transcribed by Christopher Smith of MassLive.com.
"I think for right now Trev is our shortstop, and I think for right now, if he’s off, we’ll probably see [Andruw Monasterio] there,” Tracy said. “I’m going to let Marcelo settle in at second base for the time being.”
Now, of course, this isn't a ringing endorsement forever, but don't expect to see a change in the near future in the middle infield for Boston. Mayer is the club's second baseman and Story is the shortstop. There's a chance that changes in the future. Mayer arguably is the club's shortstop of the future, but Story is the shortstop for right now.
We're starting to see Mayer heat up at the plate, as shown through two more base hits on Monday against the Toronto Blue Jays. This is the right call to not shake up the infield at this time. Let him continue to develop offensively and get comfortable. After that, then have a conversation.
The Red Sox believe that maintaining their current positions is best for the team, despite questions about Trevor Story's defense at shortstop.
Despite Alex Cora's exit, the Red Sox have decided to stick with their original infield plan for Mayer and Story.
Marcelo Mayer is playing second base, while Trevor Story is the team's shortstop.
