The Boston Red Sox are off to a positive start after firing manager Alex Cora, winning their first game under interim manager Chad Tracy.
Boston elected to part ways with Cora after a poor start to the season, bringing Triple-A Worcester manager Tracy to lead the team in a different direction. Red Sox fans would be ecstatic if Pedroia took over as the team's next manager. The former MVP spent his entire 14-season career in Boston, helping lead the team to three World Series championships, and is one of the team's most beloved players in recent memory.
Tracy could end up excelling in his new role, and he has earned his shot at managing the team. If the Red Sox continue to struggle, however, Pedroia could be a great option to consider for manager, offering plenty of experience as a four-time All-Star and four-time Gold Glove winner.
