Ford reached base twice on a single and a walk out of the No. 2 spot, while Lipscomb added a single and a sacrifice bunt. Franklin scored Rochester’s only run after being hit by a pitch to open the eighth.
The final score was 3-1 in favor of the Syracuse Mets.
