Stewart hit an opposite-field 3-run homer to get the scoring started in the bottom of the first inning. Eugenio Suárez followed with his 192nd career homer with the club to pass Brandon Phillips for 12th all-time.
One inning later, Matt McLain and Elly De La Cruz worked back-to-back two-out walks before Stewart blasted another 3-run homer to right field to put the Reds up, 7-2.
According to the Reds, Stewart's six RBI are tied for the second-most by a Reds rookie in a single game since rookie rules were established in 1958.
The record for single-game RBI by a rookie belongs to Robin Jennings, who knocked in seven runs in an 11-3 win over Pittsburgh at Cinergy Field Aug. 31, 2001.
