Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) will stage its first-ever mixed martial arts (MMA) event on Sat. night (May 16, 2026) with “Rousey vs. Carano” at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. As the name suggests, the Netflix-streamed fight card will be headlined by the five-round featherweight affair pitting former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey opposite ex-Strikeforce attraction Gina Carano.
UFC veterans Nate Diaz, Mike Perry, Francis Ngannou, and Philipe Lins will also see action.
The Rousey vs Carano MMA event is scheduled for May 16, 2026, at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
John McCarthy will referee the fight, while judges Derek Cleary, Michael Bell, and Felicia Oh will score the action.
The card includes Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano, Nate Diaz, Mike Perry, Francis Ngannou, and Philipe Lins.

California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) recently revealed the referee and judging assignments for this weekend’s big shebang, featuring the return of “Big” John McCarthy. He’ll oversee the Rousey vs. Carano headliner, while Derek Cleary, Michael Bell and Felicia Oh score the action from cageside.

“I think that fighting for MVP and on Netflix, it makes this fight bigger than us,” Rousey said at the kickoff press conference. “It’s a game-changer for the entire industry. And I think that this is going to … everything’s going to be different for all of the fighters after this. This is an experiment that Netflix is undertaking, and I think that we’re going to outperform every single expectation on this card.”
