Inter Milan will reportedly face strong competition in the race to sign in-demand Venezia midfielder Issa Doumbia this summer.

According to Portuguese outlet Record via FCInter1908, three more clubs are interested in the 22-year-old star.

Cristian Chivu’s men have recently shown plenty of interest in the Serie B market.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri signed French midfielder Yanis Massolin from Modena in January, allowing the player to stay with the Canaries on loan until the end of the season.

Furthermore, they’re also keeping close tabs on Modena defender Daniel Tonoli, who has been making strides in Serie B this term.

Issa Doumbia appears to be another name on Beppe Marotta’s shortlist.

Doumbia has emerged as one of Serie B’s hottest prospects this season.

Indeed, the Italian youngster has managed eight goals and five assists in 34 competitive appearances for Modena.

Inter have set their sights on the talented midfielder, but they face stiff competition from fellow Serie A rivals AC Milan and Roma.
