Report – Inter Milan Sent Scouts To Observe Four Cagliari & Sassuolo Stars Last Weekend
Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly set their sights on Sassuolo stars Ismael Kone and Tarik Muharemovic.
According to FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri scouts were at Stadio Luigi Ferraris during the Neroverdi’s 2-1 defeat to Genoa last weekend to observe the in-demand duo.
Inter have earmarked Tarik Muharemovic as one of their top defensive targets ahead of the summer.
Indeed, the 23-year-old has emerged as an ideal candidate to strengthen Cristian Chivu’s defensive options.
Furthermore, the Nerazzurri are keeping close tabs on Canadian midfielder Ismael Kone to reinforce midfield.
Despite Sassuolo’s loss to Genoa, Muharemovic and Kone fared well, with the latter scoring the equalizing goal.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri scouts were also at the Unipol Domus to watch two Cagliari aces.
Indeed, Atalanta loanee Marco Palestra remains one of Inter’s top targets to replace Dutch winger Denzel Dumfries.
In addition to Palestra, Inter are also interested in Cagliari goalkeeper Elia Caprile.
With Yann Sommer set to leave San Siro, Inter are in the market for a new shot-stopper, with Caprile catching Beppe Marotta’s attention.
Moreover, both players held up their end of the bargain in a 1-0 home win over Cremonese, keeping the visitors at bay.
