One of the key figureheads in answering those questions will be general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr.
Prior to solving Golden State's puzzle in a pivotal offseason, Dunleavy Jr. reportedly locked down his own future with the franchise. According to Anthony Slater and Ramona Shelbourne of ESPN, Dunleavy Jr. "quietly" signed an extension with the Warriors "months ago."

With Dunleavy Jr. locked up, he will now be tasked with figuring out the Warriors' situation at head coach. Future Hall of Fame head coach Steve Kerr's contract has expired. With his contract coming to an end, questions have arisen about his future. Is the coach who led the Warriors to four NBA championships ready to retire? An important question Dunleavy Jr. will soon have to answer that will likely have significant ripples through the franchise.
Along with figuring out Kerr's future, Dunleavy Jr. will also be tasked with making a pick in the lottery for the first time in his career. Through two drafts, Dunleavy Jr. has selected players like Brandin Podziemski, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Quinten Post. The Warriors are currently projected to have the No. 11 pick in the NBA draft.

On top of the draft, the Warriors will have decisions to make in free agency regarding players like Draymond Green, Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford and De'Anthony Melton. Green, Melton and Horford all have player options for next season, while Porzingis is an unrestricted free agent.
