Juventus has reportedly secured a €40m deal for Club Brugge defender Joel Ordonez, who is expected to leave this summer. The 22-year-old was previously linked to Inter Milan but now seems set for a move to Juventus.
Report Ordonez has surprising €40m deal with Juventus
Club Brugge defender Joel Ordonez has repeatedly been linked with a Serie A move for Inter, but now ESPN claim Juventus have a deal worth €40m already in place.
The centre-back only celebrated his 22nd birthday last week and is under contract with Club Brugge until June 2029, but widely expected to move on this summer.
Inter had been tracking him for a very long time, but it is now reported that Juventus have dived in and already guaranteed themselves a deal.

ESPN commentator Jorge Barril in Ecuador claimed during the commentary of 0-0 Juventus that the Bianconeri have shaken hands with Club Brugge and the player for a transfer worth €40m.
The deal for Joel Ordonez with Juventus is reportedly worth €40 million.
Joel Ordonez was previously linked to Inter Milan before Juventus secured the deal.
Joel Ordonez is under contract with Club Brugge until June 2029.

He already has 16 senior caps for Ecuador and is set to participate in the tournament in the USA, Mexico and Canada this summer.
Milan and Atalanta had also shown interest in Ordonez in the past, while Club Brugge had refused to negotiate with Olympique Marseille last year, but it looks as if Juventus are beating them all to his signature.
