The entire NFL schedule for the 2026 season will be revealed on Thursday night, but some of details regarding the New England Patriots' slate are slowly coming into focus.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported Thursday morning that the Patriots' first three games have been decided.
"#Patriots first three games, per sources: Week 1 - @ Seahawks [Opening Night] Week 2 - Steelers [Home Opener] Week 3 - @ Jaguars," Schultz posted on X.
It was reported in February that a Super Bowl LX rematch between New England and Seattle was a possibility, and that was confirmed on Wednesday.
The Week 2 home matchup vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers will not only be the Patriots' 2026 home-opener, but mark the second year in a row that New England has hosted the AFC North club.
The Patriots' Week 3 road tilt against the Jacksonville Jaguars will be New England's first meeting with Trevor Lawrence and company since Week 7 of the 2024 campaign (Drake Maye's second career start).
The NFL has already confirmed some other details on the Patriots' 2026 schedule, including a Week 10 game vs. the Detroit Lions, set to take place in Germany.
