The Los Angeles Rams are not expected to pursue A.J. Brown in trade talks despite earlier interest. The team is focusing on other receiver options to strengthen their roster.
After the Los Angeles Rams drafted Ty Simpson with the No. 13 overall pick, general manager Les Snead suggested the team could use its 2027 draft picks for bold moves to support its Super Bowl window in 2026. Naturally, then, there was speculation that the Rams could reopen trade discussions with the Philadelphia Eagles for receiver A.J. Brown.

Despite the Rams' ability to utilize their future draft picks to trade for veteran talent, The Athletic's Nate Atkins reported that L.A. "is not expected to target Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown despite earlier trade talks." There are options in free agency that could make sense — like Stefon Diggs, Deebo Samuel, , and — or veteran trade options that have yet to reveal themselves.
