The Blues face a critical summer with the club needing to appoint a new head coach, and strengthen the squad in key positions.
Unlike January, Chelsea are expected to busy and itâs believed the Blues are looking for a centre back, midfielder and another attacker.
Chelsea prioritising starting level centre back
Chelsea have struggled defensively this season, and have paid the price for not signing a replacement for Levi Colwill, who suffered an ACL injury before the start of the campaign.
In a huge boost for Chelsea Colwill is now back, but a serious overhaul of the centre back department is required in the summer.
The Blues have been linked with both Murillo and Jan Paul van Hecke, whilst at least three of the current crop could be moved on.
Football.London have reported Chelsea are prioritising a starting level centre back, and would like the new head coach to be involved in recruitment.
The report adds for Xabi Alonso that would be a big deal, with previous head coaches not given that opportunity.
