WNBA rosters were required to be finalized by Thursday, May 7, by 5 p.m. ET, with the season set to begin Friday, May 8.
While Kentucky had four players selected in this year's draft, only one was able to work her way onto a roster at the end of the preseason. She joined an established star and a 2025 first-round pick to give UK a trio of WNBA players to start the season.

Rhyne Howard is entering her fifth season in the WNBA. The 6-foot-2 guard was drafted first overall by the Dream in 2022. Last season, Howard averaged 17.5 points, 4.6 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. She helped lead Atlanta to 30 wins and the top seed in the Eastern Conference, but the team fell in the first round of the playoffs to the Indiana Fever.
The Dream will open the season Saturday against the Lynx in Minnesota.

Georgia Amoore was selected sixth overall in the 2025 draft, but missed all of last season with a torn ACL. In the Mystics' two preseason games, the 5-foot-6 guard earned a pair of starts and averaged 5.5 points, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and a rebound in 15 minutes per contest.
The Mystics will open their season Friday across the border against the Toronto Tempo.

Teonni Key will be entering her rookie season with the Toronto Tempo after being selected 22nd overall in the 2026 draft. This past season, the 6-foot-5 forward averaged 11.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game while helping lead Kentucky to the Sweet 16. In Key's two preseason games with Toronto, she averaged two points, 3.5 rebounds and an assist.
The Tempo will kick off its inaugural season by hosting the Washington Mystics on Friday.
Kentucky had a total of four players selected in the 2026 WNBA Draft, but Teonni Key was the only one who made her way onto a roster.
Tonie Morgan, who led the country in assists this past season, was selected 32nd overall by the Chicago Sky before being waived on May 3. She averaged 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in two preseason games.
Amelia Hassett, a 6-foot-4 forward who made 99 3-pointers in her senior season, was selected 35th overall by the Las Angeles Sparks. Hassett recorded three points and three rebounds in her lone preseason game before being waived April 28.
Jordan Obi was the final Wildcat selected in the draft, going 44th overall to the Las Vegas Aces. She did not score in either preseason game and averaged just 1.0 rebounds and 0.5 assists. Obi was waived by the Aces on May 4.
