Daniel Richards won both the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles at the Sagamore Conference Meet, setting a new school record in the latter. Tannon Monden also secured a title in the high jump with a clearance of 6-2.
The Lebanon track and field braved the elements at the Sagamore Conference Meet on Friday night at Harrison.
The girls team placed second overall, and the boys placed fourth.
Daniel Richards swept the hurdles titles on the boys side. He won the 110-meter hurdles in 14.71 and then took the 300-meter hurdles in 38.53, a new school record that he had set just last week.
Lebanon also got a title from Tannon Monden in the high jump, clearing 6-2.
For the girls, the Tigers got runner-up finishes from Soteria Udu in the long jump in 16-1 and in the 100 in 13.22.
Also placing in the top-5 for the girls: Paige Benton placed third in the 100 in 13.38, Temperance Thompson placed fourth in the discus in 101-10, Mercedes Bernal placed fifth in the high jump in 4-6, Liliana Gonzalez placed fourth in the pole vault in 8-6, Brooklyn Smith placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.38 and fifth in the 300-meter hurdles in 51.82, Penny Lamerson placed third in the 800 in 2:26.80 and fourth in the 1,600-meter run in 5:33.16, Sophia Kyker was fourth in the 400 in 1:03.99, Haley Tiefel was fifth in the 1,600-meter run in 5:51.89 and fourth in the 3,200 in 13:06.51, and Udu placed fourth in the 200 in 28.08.
The 4x100 ream placed Paris Benton, Jazmine Moore, Udu and Sarah Wright placed second in 51.96. The 4x400 team of Kyker, Smith, Lamerson and Katie Boling placed third in 4:25.59. The 4x800 relay team of Claire Larson, Audrie Cooper, Tiefel and Charlotte Kleinfl placed fourth in 11:42.25,
Also placing in the top-5 for the boys: Arsene Mpanda placed second in the discus in 153-9, Dylan Gosewehr placed third in the pole vault in 10-6, Jeremy Loveras placed third in the long jump in 20-3.75 and fifth in the 400 in 53.20, Cris Freitas placed fifth in the high jump in 5-6.
The 4x800 team of Jovani Suarez, Brynner Sloan, Lucas Hicks and Curtis Hicks placed third in 8:56.68, the 4x100 team of Cayden Gates, Carl Gildersleeve, Xavies Jackson and Niko Trepcos placed fourth in 44.04 and the 4x400 team placed third in 3:43.08.
