PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) – The Peoria Rivermen won 4-1 at Carver Arena Saturday night over the Macon Mayhem to sweep the best-of-three playoff series.
Jordan Ernst scored just three minutes into the game to start hot for the Rivermen but then wouldn’t score again until just one minute into the third period.
Griffen Fox tipped home a shot roughly 30 second into the third to break a 1-1 tie. One minute later, Kylar Fenton added an insurance goal en route to the victory.
The Rivermen will face Knoxville in the SPHL semis
