Fabrizio Romano has been on his Youtube channel, giving major updates on all sorts of things including Chelsea’s search for a manager.

“For Iraola, he’s not going to rush into anything,” Romano said.

“He’s going to have lots of options and offers probably in the summer, not just from the Premier League, there’ll be interest from some top European leagues in him as well.

“He’ll have to be convinced by the project, but look, Chelsea are a huge club, huge ambitions.”

With the current Bournemouth coach the favourite to take the full time job at Stamford Bridge, everything seems to be heading in that direction.

Chelsea can help Iraola complete Premier League “dream”

“Iraola has this dream of continuing in the Premier League, and in England, at the highest level possible,” Romano continued.

“This is why he is linked to Man United, this is why he is linked to Chelsea. But my understanding, at the moment with Chelsea, still nothing advanced or decided.”

Given Michael Carrick got a big win against Liverpool yesterday and looks to have secured the Man U job, we could have less competition for Iraola than expected.
