Rousey discussed her future with Kamaru Usman on the Pound 4 Pound podcast, alongside Henry Cejudo, before her return at MVPâs inaugural MMA card.
Asked by Usman whether the Carano fight would be her final bout, the 39-year-old admitted the answer depends on what happens.
She said: âI think it entirely depends on this fight. This fight could be the kind of thing that calls for a trilogy.
âBut I promised my husband, my sister, everybody in my family is like, âplease let this be the last one.â I wanna have some more babies. I wanna have some more kids after this.â
That makes the Carano fight more than a comeback. Rousey is returning for one major night that could end a career that changed womenâs MMA history.
