Enzo Fernandez was taken off injured right at the end of Chelsea’s game against Man U tonight, and Liam Rosenior has given an update on him.

Chelsea’s big injury worry from tonight’s defeat to Man U was Estevao, who went off in the first half with a hamstring injury.
Later in the game there was another major scare when Enzo Fernandez went off. Speaking after the game, manager Liam Rosenior gave an update on how his midfielder was getting on:
“I just saw him in the dressing room,” Rosenior said.
“I think it was his calf. I’m hoping it’s cramp. He’s getting work on it right now because we want him obviously fit for Tuesday. I think the fact that he ran himself into the ground for the club tonight and I expect nothing different from a man of his stature and his quality.”

Rosenior’s attempts to praise Enzo, both in this answer and his others, show very obviously how hard he’s trying to stay in the midfielder’s good books after being part of the decision to ban him for his international break comments.
