RSVP for the free 2026 HSS North Jersey High School Sports Awards show

We're planning the big show again!

NorthJersey.com and The Record will honor the top high school athletes in Bergen and Passaic counties at the 2026 North Jersey High School Sports Awards show, presented by HSS.

The event is free for all to attend, from nominated athletes and The Record's "Athletes of the Week" to family and friends, coaches, athletic directors and administrators. We're asking all to please RSVP for the show.

Here is everything you need to know about the event and how to RSVP:

When and where is the show?

The 2026 North Jersey High School Sports Awards will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 26 at Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

Who is invited to the show?

All Player of the Year nominees for more than 30 high school sports, and The Record's "Athletes of the Week" for the 2025-26 school year, plus their coaches, athletic directors, friends and family.

Do I need to buy tickets?

No! Thanks to our presenting sponsor HSS, the 2026 North Jersey High School Sports Awards show is free to attend. You do not need to buy tickets, but we ask that you kindly RSVP using the form below.

You may bring as many guests as you'd like.

Which awards are being announced?

Players of the Year will be announced for 34 different sports.

Eight specialty awards will also be handed out. These awards are: Female Athlete of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, Girls Team of the Year, Boys Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and two Charlie McGill Scholarship Award recipients.

All of The Record's "Athletes of The Week" from the 2025-26 school year will also be recognized.

Nominees for the spring sports season will be announced in mid-June.

Team of the Year awards

For the Team of the Year awards, every team that won a sectional or county championship is a nominee.
