Ryan Garcia has put his name forward to fight Arman Tsarukyan after failing to pay up a $40,000 bet.
Arman Tsarukyan’s profile has shot up recently, and it’s not just because of what he’s done inside the UFC Octagon.
The top-ranked lightweight hasn’t fought in the organisation since last November, but he hasn’t been idle. He’s kept himself busy with grappling and wrestling competitions during that time.
And now, he may have his hands full with a boxer, as he and world champion boxer Ryan Garcia continue to disagree regarding a $40,000 bet.

Earlier this month, ‘Ahalkalakets’ continued his streaming tour when he appeared on a livestream with ‘King’ Ryan.
During the stream, Tsarukyan bet the WBC welterweight world champion that he couldn’t drop his teammate with a body shot. The two agreed on a $40,000 wager.
Garcia failed to drop the teammate despite multiple attempts and handed over a stack of cash from his sweatpants as payment. But soon after, Tsarukyan was asked by Garcia’s team to return the money so they could count it. Garcia then said he’d send the full amount later but hasn’t followed through yet.
In response to Tsarukyan publicly calling him out for not paying, Garcia has now challenged the UFC fighter to settle things in the ring.
“Arman and his team, we can just set up a squabble between whoever on your team, no body shot things, just a fight. Not for $40k for however much, I’m not paying you s—, let’s just fight. If any of you can win, I’ll give you $100k,” he said in a post on X.
