The Buffalo Sabres returned to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen as their starting goaltender in Game 4, with the Finnish goalie replacing Alex Lyon after back-to-back losses at the hands of the Montreal Canadiens.
The team is undoubtedly happy with a series-tying win, which saw Luukkonen stop every Canadiens shot after the first period, but they aren't thrilled with the treatment Luukkonen received on ESPN.
After analyst and former Canadiens star P.K. Subban struggled to pronounce Luukkonen's name in what has become a pattern, the Sabres hit back and trolled the network on Wednesday.

Subban whiffed on his pronunciation of Luukkonen's name when the Sabres started their playoff run in April. Even weeks later, with Buffalo still alive and fighting for a spot in the Western Conference Final, ESPN continues to struggle to get it right.
The Sabres decided to let Subban and the ESPN panel learn from the best. Buffalo posted a video of young children correctly pronouncing Luukkonen's name in a hilarious troll on Wednesday, reminding the network how easy it is to get the name right.
If Luukkonen's strong performance in Game 4 is a sign of what's to come, ESPN might have to get used to saying his name. The Finnish goaltender went 29-of-31 in the win, allowing two early goals but shutting out Montreal the rest of the way.
Luukkonen appears to be the Sabres' lead option over Lyon once again, and he is two wins away from playing in the Eastern Conference Final.
Despite Luukkonen's name potentially setting an NHL record with six appearances of the letter "K," it's fairly straightforward to pronounce, as those kids proved.
Luukkonen's name is pronounced OO-koh-PEH-kuh LOO-koh-nehn, which is about how it's spelled.
As far as NHL names go, Luukkonen might have one of the most unique when it comes to spelling, but there are certainly plenty that are more difficult to pronounce. If he can take the Sabres to the conference final and even beyond, Luukkonen will leave Subban and ESPN with no choice but to get it right.
