In the second of three Junior Day events in January, Florida State hosted 2027 three-star safety Bryson Brown. It was his first trip to see the program, and he left campus with a scholarship offer.
This past Saturday was another huge day for FSU in terms of recruiting. They had a long list of recruits on campus to witness a spring scrimmage, including Brown. When talking about the visit, the 5-foot-10.5, 175-pounder raved about how things went in Tallahassee.
"It was good," Brown told Noles247. "We definitely got a chance to talk to Coach [Mike] Norvell and Coach [Evan] Cooper. It was just a great experience coming back out here. Getting to watch the spring scrimmage and all that. It was just a great experience to be here. All praise to the most high. Just a blessing to be here today."
As far as his official visits during the summer, Brown has three of them. He'll visit Arkansas on May 29, Oklahoma State on June 4, and Kansas on June 19. He doesn't have one locked in with Florida State at the moment, but he's working to make that a reality.
"Definitely," said Brown. "We're supposed to get on a call and set it up and everything like that. So I definitely feel like that's going to be a good experience and stuff like that. Bring my family out here, like my little sister, my brother - they've never been out to Tallahassee. So definitely going to be something great to be here for."
Brown is coming off a very solid junior campaign at Broken Arrow High School. He finished with 32 tackles and six pass breakups.
The 247Sports composite rankings have Brown ranked as the No. 748 player nationally and the No. 75 safety. In the state of Oklahoma, he's the No. 16 prospect.
