The New Orleans Saints have announced the jersey numbers for nearly all new roster additions, including draft picks and free agents. Only two players, Martin Emerson Jr. and Zxavian Harris, remain without assigned numbers.
We found out which jersey numbers the New Orleans Saints' 2026 draft picks will be wearing at rookie minicamp this weekend, but now we've learned the jersey numbers for almost everyone on the roster. Here's the list from the official roster on the team website:
If you're keeping score, that leaves just two players without numbers: veteran cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. and undrafted rookie defensive tackle Zxavian Harris, whose signing has not been announced by the team just yet. Emerson has used Nos. 1 and 23 in the NFL, neither of which are available, while Harris has worn No. 51 in high school and college (which also is unavailable). For now, the numbers used by three fan favorites who either left the team or are still in free agency -- Demario Davis, Cameron Jordan and Taysom Hill -- are all unclaimed. Here's that list and the positions eligible to use each of them:
The Saints' 2026 draft picks have been assigned jersey numbers, including Dashawn Jones at No. 42 and CJ Donaldson at No. 43.
The two players without jersey numbers are Martin Emerson Jr. and undrafted rookie Zxavian Harris.
Unclaimed jersey numbers from former Saints players include Nos. 7, 45, 50, 56, 60, 67, 89, and 94.

Because the Saints were given a roster exemption for kicker Charlie Smyth (as part of the NFL's International Player Pathway program), they still have one vacant roster spot to fill. Maybe Jordan returns, or another new addition is signed to take that spot; we never did get clarity on whether former Ohio State defensive tackle Tywone Malone is signing as a rookie free agent, as was announced by the school on social media but which has not been confirmed by the team. He used Nos. 90 and 95 in college football plus No. 54 in college baseball, so that's another one to keep in mind. If nothing else, there's plenty of moving parts to keep track of this time of year.
