The New Orleans Saints made a big move with the No. 8 overall pick, selecting Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson to get Tyler Shough a new top receiver.
Pairing Tyson with Chris Olave and Devaughn Vele makes for a very fun WR room in New Orleans. But there is some real reason to be worried about this pick for the Saints.
As ESPN's Katherine Terrell highlighted, Tyson has the same problem as Olave when it comes to injuries. With two WRs who've had injury problems in the past, this pick from the Saints has a big question mark hovering over it for now.
"Tyson's injury history is extensive, which could be a concern," Terrell writes. "Olave, the Saints' No. 1 wideout, suffered health issues of his own when he had several concussions in 2024."
Tyson has yet to suit up for the Saints, but there are already injury concerns for the star receiver prospect from the 2026 NFL Draft.
If there weren't any injury issues with Tyson, he might not have made it to the Saints' pick. But, since these injury issues could limit his production, it's a reasonable concern for the Saints to consider.

Tyson has dealt with a few different injury issues in his career, with hamstring, knee, and ankle issues to go along with a broken collarbone during his collegiate career.
All of those injuries are cause for concern, and combined with Olave's injury issues in the past, the Saints now have their top two receivers as players who've dealt with injury problems in their careers.
Health is a big question for Tyson, and is the biggest reason why this draft pick might not work out in the long-run. But, as long as he can stay healthy, then the worries about this pick will likely be unfounded, and he might be one of the best players from this class.
