The New Orleans Saints privately worked out Georgia wide receiver Noah Thomas as they prepare for the 2026 NFL Draft. Thomas, a 6-foot-5 vertical threat, had notable production in college with 10 touchdowns over two seasons.
The 2026 NFL offseason has been a fun one for New Orleans Saints fans, as the team has started to really invest in building around Tyler Shough using their newfound cap space. Now, everyone turns their attention to the 2026 NFL Draft, where the Saints can really set the precedent that they want to be competitive with another draft class similar to last year's.
Improving the wide receiver room will be one key focus, and the Saints have met with a litany of different names at that position so far. One of the more recent additions to that list is Georgia wideout Noah Thomas, who, in an interview with Justin Melo of OnSI, noted the Saints' interest.
"Iāve had some Zoom meetings with the Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders. I also had private workouts with the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. The Houston Texans took me out to dinner," Thomas said.
Thomas is an intriguing name to keep an eye out for in the draft, as despite a lesser utilization rate at Georgia than expected, he has lots of positives going for him. The obvious one being his height, at 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds, he makes for an exceptional vertical threat, and this showed in his 10 receiving touchdowns between 2024 and 2025. His production was also solid, as he had 545 yards on 34 receptions in 2024 and 254 on 16 receptions in 2025.

One of the concerns about his game statistically is the difference between targets and receptions, especially when his workload was increased for 2024. Catching 34 of 63 targets that season (around 54%) is difficult to deal with, but it certainly has to be factored in that some throws were out of his catch radius or just deflected by the incoming defensive back.
Thomas could end up being an impressive Day 3 standout with some good coaching, and Kellen Moore could be the right man for the job in getting the best out of his impressive skillset.
