Former Auburn football offensive lineman Jeremiah Wright was selected with the 132nd overall pick by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
The New Orleans Saints drafted Wright in the fourth round of the NFL Draft on day three. He is the fourth Tiger taken in this class this year. The 6-foot-5 guard stayed with the Tigers through multiple coaching changes on the Plains.
Wright has been with the Tigers since 2020. He played under Gus Malzahn, Bryan Harsin, and Hugh Freeze in his time. Originally recruited out of Selma, Alabama, as a three-star prospect and No. 29 in the state. In his freshman season, Wright moved to the defense line and recorded three tackles, but he would switch back to the offensive side in his second year. Mainly served as a depth piece for the Tigers until 2024, when Wright took over the starting role at right guard.
In his last season, he made all 12 starts, marking 24 straight for him since taking over in 2024. Wright led the Tigers in knockdown blocks with 33 total. Now Wright is headed to New Orleans to live the dream of many athletes. The Saints get a dedicated player who's hungry to get to work protecting second-year quarterback Tyler Shough.
