Scotland reeled off their 10th successive victory at the World Men's Curling Championship to clinch a place in the semi-finals in Utah.
A comfortable 8-2 success against the Czech Republic left Ross Whyte's rink second in the round-robin standings behind Sweden.
They now await the play-off winners from Canada v Italy in a match you can watch via the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer at 22:00 BST on Friday.
Sweden, Scotland and Canada all finished with a record of 10 wins and two defeats.
Sweden beat Scots in their opening game, the Scots beat the Canadians and the Canadians beat the Swedes, ruling out head-to-head records, with the top two spots settled on the "draw-shot challenge", the most accurate first shot that decides which rink has "hammer" at the start of each match.
Sweden, led by seven-time world champion Niklas Edin, meet Switzerland or USA in the last four.
Skip Whyte, along with Robin Brydone, Euan Kyle and Craig Waddell, are looking to retain the title for Scotland after last year's win by Bruce Mouat's world number ones.
Mouat's rink elected not to compete following their silver medal at the Olympics in Cortina.
Brad Jacobs' Olympic champions from Canada, currently ranked two in the world, and Yannick Schwaller's third-ranked Swiss are also missing this world championship, leaving Matt Dunstone's Canadians and Whyte as the two highest ranked sides in the competition.
