A reporter critiqued Scheffler on his round with a straight forward question. Schefflerâs impressive day came after shooting a seven-under par score of 65.
However, the former two-time Masters champion wasnât having any of the questions when he was asked about what he felt his score shouldâve been on the afternoon.
âThatâs just a terrible question,â Scheffler said with a smirk. âNext question. Awful.â
While some fans and sports media members werenât able to tell if Scheffler was joking initially, it became apparent when the worldâs top player moved on with other questions.

The good news for Scheffler is that McIlroyâs epic Saturday meltdown is the talk of Augusta heading into Sundayâs final round. McIlroy held a six-shot lead entering Round 3, but now sits as a co-leader before the final round.
The Northern Irishman is hoping to become the first back-to-back Masters champion in over two decades. Tiger Woods is the last player to win two consecutive titles at Augusta, which he completed back in 2002.
Meanwhile, Scheffler is four shots back in a competitive field that features many elite golfers like McIlroy, Cameron Young, Shane Lowry, Justin Rose and others.
Scheffler has the chance to become a three-time Masters winner if he can complete an epic comeback at the iconic golf course.
