The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off live from Pittsburgh on Thursday, April 23 and the latest crop of rookies will be hearing their names called all weekend long. For the Seattle Seahawks, the biggest need is an obvious one: Running back.

Here's everything you need to know about the Seattle Seahawks for this year's draft, including a round-by-round look at picks and a potential trade candidate already on the roster.
Per USA TODAY's Ayrton Ostly:
Seattle's offense has a few question marks as the defending champions look to avoid regression. While running back is a big area of need, shoring up the interior could make things easier on the running backs already on the roster. Rutledge's run blocking gives him a high floor with his hand usage and burst off the line. He could be available for Seattle at the end of Round 2 which is important given their limited draft resources.

Per USA TODAY's Jack McKessy:
Derick Hall's breakout as a rotational pass-rusher could make Nwosu a redundancy for the Seahawks despite coming off of a seven-sack season. Both players are set to hit free agency after 2026, so the draft could be a good time for Seattle to capitalize on Nwosu's value as a pass-rusher after one of the best seasons of his career. Seahawks GM John Schneider could use the return of picks to keep Seattle's roster young and in position to contend and simultaneously make his edge rusher free agency decision easier with Hall the one player to extend.
