The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft has come and gone. The Seattle Seahawks, to some surprise, stuck at 32 and picked running back Jadarian Price. Many entering the draft believed John Schneider could look to trade the 32nd pick to gain more draft capital. Instead Seattle adds another running back. Price, out of Notre Dame, was the number two running back behind Jeremiyah Love, who was also drafted third overall to the Arizona Cardinals.
Price joins a running back room currently led by George Holani and Emanuel Wilson. Zach Charbonnet is still in the picture as well with an anticipated return later int he 2026 season after suffering a torn ACL this past January.
The Seahawks selected Jadarian Price to strengthen their running back position, despite expectations of trading the 32nd pick for more draft capital.
At Notre Dame, Jadarian Price was the second running back behind Jeremiyah Love, who was drafted third overall by the Arizona Cardinals.
The Seahawks' running back room is led by George Holani and Emanuel Wilson, with Zach Charbonnet expected to return later in the 2026 season after recovering from a torn ACL.
