The Seattle Seahawks are hosting two top cornerback prospects, Brandon Cisse from South Carolina and Colton Hood from Tennessee, as part of their preparations for the 2026 NFL Draft. Cisse is scheduled to visit this week, while Hood has already met with the team.

The Seattle Seahawks are rounding out their prep for the 2026 NFL Draft with their top 30 visits, bringing players to the Pacific Northwest for a more in-depth look and interview.
Two of the top cornerbacks in the prospect pool, South Carolinaās Brandon Cisse and Tennesseeās Colton Hood, joined that list. While Cisse is set to visit the team sometime this week, according to a report by ESPNās Jordan Reid, it appears Hood has already made the trip to Lumen Field. In an Instagram post by New Mexico edge rusher Keyshawn James-Newby (who also visited the Seahawks), a graphic welcoming Hood can be seen on a Jumbotron.
With the loss of Riq Woolen in the offseason, cornerback has been a hot topic around Seattle, with numerous mock drafts sending one of these two to the Seahawks. In particular, Cisse has been a popular pick for the Seahawks at No. 32 because of his athletic ability and 9.24 relative athletic score.
The 20-year-old Cisse transferred to South Carolina after two years at North Carolina State and posted quiet numbers on the stat sheet, racking up just 27 tackles, one forced fumble and one interception, but heās still one of the top corners in this draft. NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein said that Cisseās upside comes from his explosiveness, and the team that selects him will have to work to build up his man coverage skills.
Last time the Seahawks took an athletic talent out of South Carolina, Nick Emmanwori, it panned out. In fact, Cisse attended the NFC Championship game to support the Seahawksā rising star, according to Jeff Simmons of RealHawkTalk.
Very similar to Cisse, Hood is an athletic freak, posting a 4.44 40-yard dash and an outstanding 40.5 inch vertical at the NFL Scouting Combine. The Colorado transfer broke out in his first year with the Tennessee Volunteers, making 50 tackles, grabbing one interception and knocking down eight passes in his junior season.
At 6-foot and 195 pounds, Hood plays with intensity, especially in press-man coverage and in the run game. Hood was a semi-finalist for the Jim Thorpe award and named to the All-SEC second team by the media in his final season with Tennessee
The last Volunteer to be drafted by the Seahawks was edge rusher Darrell Taylor in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Both of these players could be targets to address an area of need for the Seahawks at No. 32 or if they decide to trade back into the early portion of the second round.
