Carolina Marín: 'Es la mejor decisión que he tomado en mi carrera'
Aidan Hubbard, an undrafted free agent, has a strong chance to secure a role in the Seahawks' defense due to his impressive stunt execution and athletic testing. He finished his college career at Northwestern as the fifth all-time sack leader.

Seattle Seahawks undrafted free agent signing Aidan Hubbard has a clear path to a role in Mike Macdonald’s defense due to his ability to execute stunts with respectable size. Here’s some film of him doing so.
The @Seahawks got themselves an interesting UDFA edge-rusher in Northwestern's Aidan Hubbard. As much as Seattle likes to stunt (a metric crapton, to be precise), it's a good fit when you see how Hubbard creates disruption with angles and line games. pic.twitter.com/Aw7QX3a6d2
— Doug Farrar ✍ (@NFL\_DougFarrar) May 7, 2026 The tape matches his athletic testing well. His stunt ability is reflected in the 84th percentile broad jump and freakish 97th percentile vertical jump for the defensive end position, but to do so at his 81st percentile height is even more impressive. Adding in the fact that he’s still 56th percentile in weight and has decently long arms, you’ve got a high-potential, possibly rotational edge player who can compete with Jared Ivey’s upside. Aidan Hubbard is a DE prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored a 8.77 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 279 out of 2257 DE from 1987 to 2026.pic.twitter.com/vMlpYT29Yl
— RAS.football (@MathBomb) April 19, 2026 Hubbard started to truly put it together in his grad season when he finished with 7.5 sacks last year. He spent his entire career at Northwestern and became the No. 5 all time sack leader there with 20.5. Without agility testing, it’s hard to make a full judgement on his ability to execute stunts, but it’s easier to get past the good-not-great speed testing when you consider his explosiveness and size, knowing you won’t get a perfect athletic tester as a UDFA. Hubbard’s still a priority UDFA. His traits give him the potential to stick around at edge rusher the way Jake Bobo has done after going undrafted as a wide receiver. *This article originally appeared on Seahawks Wire: Seahawks priority UDFA spotlight: Northwestern edge Aidan Hubbard*
Aidan Hubbard scored an 8.77 RAS out of 10, ranking 279 out of 2257 defensive ends from 1987 to 2026, and finished his college career with 20.5 sacks.
Hubbard's ability to execute stunts and his athleticism make him a good fit for the Seahawks' defensive scheme, which heavily utilizes such techniques.
Hubbard has high potential as a rotational edge player, comparable to Jake Bobo's successful transition after going undrafted.
