SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Some of the best high school senior basketball players hit the court at the Sanford Pentagon for all-star games Sunday afternoon.
The girls game saw Wagner’s Ashlyn Koupal lead all scorers with 25 points to guide her team to a 104-94 win. The Nebraska commit just missed a double-double with nine rebounds. Mobridge-Pollock’s Blake Thompson paced the other team with 24.
Sam DeGroot from Lincoln and Colton Smith of Mitchell each scored 28 points to team up and lead their squad to a 121-105 win. Pine Ridge’s Marvin Richard III added 23 points for the group. Trey Hansen from Vermillion led the opposing team with 21 points.
