Serena Williams is among the star names in attendance for the Miami Grand Prix, ahead of which she caught up with Lewis Hamilton.
Hamilton is representing Ferrari in the race, which has been moved forward by three hours due to the threat of thunderstorms.
However, Hamilton has been in very high spirits ahead of the event, having spent time catching up with tennis legend Williams.
And the American has now sent a message to the Briton on social media, sharing images of their time together along with her meeting with fellow Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc.
Williams posted on her Instagram: âI had fun hanging out with the Ferrari drivers.
âI remember wanting to meet Lewis Hamilton because he was this amazing black driver winning in England at the same time that Venus Williams or I were winning at Wimbledon.
âI felt like we had to meet.
âWe did, and from then on, whenever we both won (which was a lot), we celebrated together.
âOver a decade later, weâre still very close.
âThatâs my bro.â
It was a classy message from 23-time Grand Slam champion Williams, who will likely be cheering on Hamilton and Ferrari when the Miami Grand Prix gets underway.
