Sergio Garcia had a no good, very bad Sunday at the Masters.
The 2017 winner at Augusta, Garcia let loose an epic meltdown in which he destroyed his driver thanks to the help of the ground and a water cooler.
The 46-year-old Spanish golfer’s tough go of it began on the second hole when he took his frustrations out on his golf club after his drive at the par-5 hole.
In video from the moment after he teed off, Garcia hit the ground hard, twice, with his club.
After watching his ball go into the bunker, the LIV golfer then attacked a nearby water cooler, severing the head of the club from its shaft.
“He hits the ground and then, that driver is done for the day,” an announcer said.
Minutes later, he was seen seemingly cooling off as he walked to his second shot, holding his playing partner and fellow Spaniard Jon Rahm’s bag while Rahm’s caddie tended to the bunker.

Later on the fourth hole, tournament official Geoff Yang issued a verbal code of conduct warning to Garcia, according to ESPN.
After finishing the round at 3-over and 8-over through 72 holes, Garcia ended the tournament 52nd out of 54 golfers.
The golfer did not share the specifics of what Yang told him — but admitted the season so far has not gone the way he had planned.
"[I've been frustrated] through the year," Garcia said. "Yeah, just obviously not super proud of it, but sometimes it happens."
As for destroying his driver, Garcia framed it in a different light.
“It makes it very easy,” Garcia said. “I just have to hit 3-wood all the time. I didn’t have to choose another club.”
