Winning 11 of their last 12 SEC contests, a red-hot Aggie Baseball team heads to Gainesville, Fla., to face a ranked Florida Gators (28-14, 10-8 SEC) squad. No. 7 Texas A&M (31-7, 12-5) are searching for their fifth straight conference series win but enter a stadium that has not treated them well historically.

Tuesday’s home game against UTSA was postponed due to inclement weather, and so the Maroon and White will continue a season-long road trip, playing six consecutive ballgames away from College Station. A&M passed last week’s road series at LSU with flying colors, sweeping the Bayou Bengals for the first time since 1978. This week, they will have to be successful against a team they are 4-9 in games played in Gainesville.

The Aggies and Gators share Ole Miss, Georgia, Auburn, Oklahoma and LSU as common opponents. Both teams have already faced the Bulldogs this season, with Florida taking two of three and A&M going 1-2 against Georgia.
